Cleverly Automated is run by me, Jeremy Naaktgeboren. I handle your data with care and in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page explains what data I collect through cleverlyautomated.com and what I do with it.

What data do I collect?

Website analytics

I use one service to see how visitors use the website:

• PostHog — collects visitor data and session recordings to help improve the website, without cookies. Data is stored on EU servers (eu.posthog.com). PostHog may record mouse movements, clicks and scroll behaviour.

Booking a call

When you book an Automation Scan through Cal.com, I collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Anything else you fill in

Cal.com Inc. processes this data to schedule and confirm the appointment.

Calculator

If you leave your email address in the calculator on this site, I keep that address together with what you filled in, so I can follow up on your results personally. The form is processed through Modal (hosted in the US).

Email contact

If you email me, I keep your name, email address and message so I can reply.

What do I use your data for?

• Improving the website and my services
• Scheduling and running appointments
• Answering your questions
• Analysing website usage (anonymised)

Legal basis

I process your data based on:

• Legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR) — for website analytics and improving my services
• Performance of a contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR) — when you book an appointment
• Consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR) — where applicable

How long do I keep your data?

No longer than needed:

• Website analytics: up to 26 months
• Contact details: for as long as we're in touch for business, plus 1 year
• Session recordings (PostHog): up to 90 days

Who do I share data with?

I only share your data with:

• PostHog Inc. — website analytics and session recordings (EU servers)
• Cal.com Inc. — appointment scheduling
• Modal Labs Inc. — processes the calculator form (US)
• Vercel Inc. — website hosting (US, EU-US Data Privacy Framework)

I never sell your data.

Cookies

This website doesn't place any cookies. PostHog runs in cookieless mode. Nothing is stored on your device that identifies you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Have your data corrected
• Have your data deleted
• Restrict how your data is processed
• Object to processing
• Data portability

Complaints

Not happy with how I handle your data? Get in touch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

I may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
